The Negev is located in the extreme south of modern day Israel, and is the location of many of the events recorded in Genesis, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Samuel, Kings, and Psalms. We took a trip there a few years ago, had an adventure with camels, coyotes, and other wildlife. In the following images, you will see a "waterfall" that actually does run a few weeks during the year. At the bottom of this fall, is a cistern that for centuries supplied water the travelers in this part of the desert. I wrote a reflection on this formerly full and refreshing cistern that is now filled with sand and rocks.

Flowers in the Spring
Almond Blossoms are incredible!
They fill the tree and it is am amazing sight!
These red flowers cover the hillsides in February and March.
There are also beautiful Blue Flowers
