Seek The Lamb is a non-profit organization on a mission of Following our Lord Jesus Christ, Loving the People around us, and Actively Serving their needs. We are very orthodox but not very "religious" Christians.
We are currently educating over 1200 Miskito Indian children in nine communities along the Rio Coco in Nicaragua/Honduras. We began this project in 1986 and have educated thousands of children and adults over the past 25 years.
In addition, we have established an outreach to the international travelers who come to the island of Utila off the north coast of Honduras. They come from all the countries of Europe, North America, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, and South America for scuba diving, and we have established a coffee store to serve them a good brew, and good conversations!
All the while, we continue with a ministry of teaching the historical and cultural background of the Bible in the United States and Israel.
We tell about our adventures in our monthly newsletter-
The Conchshell Chronicles.
Here is an exceprt from our January edition:
We think it is equally important to thank many of you who have been a part of our incredible walk of faith. God is bearing much fruit through our collective efforts, obedience and sacrifices and we are grateful. The Lord continues His wondrous exploits on the Rio Coco with His peopleā¦our Miskito friends, leaders, students and teachers are making steps toward greater effectiveness for His Kingdom. We are in the process of consolidating many efforts and making it work more efficiently as we step forward into 2012. May God grant His wisdom to us all as we do. We need Him and you more than ever. We desire to engage in more discipleship and the furthering of His purposes in the Miskito Culture. Tom and Nutie Keogh are a huge asset to the overall workings of the bringing to life much of what we have desired and worked toward for years. We are excited.

Deep & Significant Spiritual Studies
We have traveled to many Biblical sites in Israel, Greece, Turkey, and Rome. Our work on the Rio Coco has given us a perspective on our Christian Faith that steps outside the American norm.

We Welcome Your Donations!
We have operated on the "Team Concept" for over 27 years, and through all of us doing our part as God assigns us, we have together accomplished many notable things.
1) We have educated over 15,000 children in our primary schools along the Rio Coco in Honduras and Nicaragua;
2) We have constructed many school buildings and provided many children and adults with books and learning materials;
3) We have hosted numerous pastoral training conferences in Honduras and Nicaragua;
4) We have hosted a weekly radio show on the "Rio Coco FM" station featuring Onofre Zamora, one of the most capable Miskito Bible teachers;
5) We have sent four members of our Miskito staff to Israel for Bible training;
6) We have delivered tons of emergency relief supplies to desperate families in Nicaragua, Honduras, and Israel.
7) We have hosted Bible training seminars in Centra America, Israel, Hawaii, Florida, and other states.
