Michael and I were discussing our "daily word" reading this morning and the things that stood out to us.
I noticed in Exodus 33:11 "Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend..." and how Joshua, his servant, the son of Nun, a young man would not depart from the tent. Who would want to depart from the felt presence of the Lord???
Moses prayed in verse 13 ,
1) to find favor in the Lord's sight
2) to know God's ways and to know Him
3) and in knowing God's ways and knowing Him results in finding favor in the Lord's sight
4) "Consider too, that this nation is Your People."
Exodus 33:14 And He said, "My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest."
My heart longs to see my Lord face to face. I desire to know Him intimately and to learn of His ways and to see those ways applied to my life. Much of this occurs when I apply myself to the people God surrounds me with to serve. Every real believer must come to grips with the simple reality of the eternal imperative, Know God, seek God, Know His ways and extend it outward to those we are with.
it was the lifestyle Moses took on. He led a whole people group around the wilderness. At times, we may feel as if we are in that wilderness. It is there that we cling to the simple words of Truth, "I shall go with you and I will give you rest."
What more do we need?
knowing Him results in finding favor in the Lord's sight

I don't like to try harsh cleaners and the extra-gentle eye make-up remover produces no itch or reactions.
